Nicki Minaj Faces $20M Mansion Seizure Over Unpaid Assault Judgment
A motion filed in early October 2025 demands the sale of Nicki Minaj’s mansion in Hidden Hills to satisfy a $503,318 default judgment.
The judgment stems from a 2019 concert incident in Germany, where former security guard Thomas Weidenmüller claims he was struck in the jaw by Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty.
In his petition, Weidenmüller argues the mansion is worth ~$20M, carries a $13.26M mortgage, and has a $722K homestead exemption — leaving ≈ $6M in equity available for debt recovery.
He insists the equity is more than enough to cover the judgment plus interest and legal costs, and that Minaj, with a net worth estimated between $150M–$190M, has the means to pay.
Minaj’s camp has responded by claiming she was never properly served — alleging legal notices went to a business manager who failed to forward them.
What Could Happen Next
- The court could approve the forced sale, appoint a receiver, and start an auction
- Minaj might pay off the judgment before that happens and block the sale
- She might challenge the service or procedural steps, delaying enforcement
Would Nicki Need a Lawyer?
Yes. Because she’s facing a serious threat to one of her largest assets, she would need legal counsel to:
- Challenge the default judgment or service claims
- Negotiate or pay the debt under terms acceptable to the court
- Protect her home via defenses or procedural objections
